Derrynane Bay House is located outside of Caherdaniel on the 'Ring of Kerry' and within walking distance of the Kerry Way. It is situated at the foot of Cahernageeha Mountain (499m) and has panoramic views across Derrynane Bay.

The bed and breakfast is Fáilte Ireland approved and has an AA rating of four-stars. There are six bedrooms in total with all with ensuite except one. Each bedroom has its own television, tea and coffee making facilities and a direct-dial phone.

There is a wide breakfast menu with several healthy alternatives to the 'Full Irish', such as scrambled egg with smoked salmon or a plate of seasonal fruits with yoghurt. Breads and preserves are home-made and orange juice is always freshly squeezed.

Walkers on the Kerry Way can arrange for their luggage to be transferred onto their next accommodation. A packed lunch can also be prepared with enough given notice. Evening meals are available locally in the Blind Piper Pub and the Courthouse Café. Guests can enquire about staying at the house outside of the season through advance arrangement.

Guests wanting to stay longer in the area can have a trip to the Skelligs organised. Horse-trekking along the beach can be set up through the equestrian centre. Derrynane House and Gardens is also worth visiting. Apart from housing an exhibition on Irish political icon, Daniel O'Connell, there are also looped walks in the National Park and around 1½km of coastline to stroll along.
