Glencurrah House is a family run bed and breakfast that is located on the outskirts of Glenbeigh. The house is on the Kerry Way if walking the 'Scenic Route' option from Glencar. The Ring of Kerry Cycle Route and Drive also pass the front door.
The Bed and Breakfast is set back from the road and is on a height that provides views across the bay to the Dingle Peninsula. Seefin Mountain also provides scenic views as it rises up from the back of the house.
Glencurrah House is approved by Fáilte Ireland and has been graded as a 3-Star Bed and Breakfast. There are five bedrooms in total, each one spacious with an ensuite and shower. Televisions are provided in each room. Although there are no kettles in the bedrooms, tea and coffee are served on arrival and are available upon request.
Outside, guests are welcome to make full use of the gardens. There are several seating areas that provide enough space to relax and admire the surrounding views. The gardens themselves are well-maintained and full of colourful shrubs and flowers.
Those walking the Kerry Way can pre-order a packed lunch for the morning and can also arrange to have their luggage transferred onto their next accommodation on the trail. Free transport to Glenbeigh is also provided for those wishing to have an evening meal in the village.
