Virginia's Guesthouse is located on Henry Street above Mulcahy's Restaurant, just a short distance off the Kerry Way. Kenmare is renowned as being a gourmet capital of Kerry and this bed and breakfast is well-situated in the centre of it all.
This guest house is approved by Fáilte Ireland and has been awarded 3 stars. All bedrooms are ensuite with shower. There are over forty cable stations on each television in the rooms. Tea and Coffee are available in the Library where guests are free to relax and browse through the books.
Breakfast is one of the main selling points for Virginia's Guesthouse. Hostess, Noreen Harrington, was a winner in the SuperValu competition in 2007. Her 'blue cheese, pear and bacon' recipe can be found in the 'Real Food, Real People' cookbook and on the SuperValu website. This prize-winning versatile snack is one of the specialties on the breakfast menu.
All food on the menu is home-made from the bread to the preserves. Sausages are hand-made and orange juice is always freshly squeezed. Local organic produce is used where possible.
