Mountain View is located on the scenic Ring of Kerry Cycle Route between Mountain Stage and Rossbeigh. It is also just a few minutes walk from the Kerry Way, at the south-western foot of Rossbeigh Hill (274m).
The guest house is Fáilte Ireland approved. All bedrooms are ensuite. Evening meals are available given advance notice. Alternatively, a lift to Glenbeigh can be organised where there are several options of places to eat.
Walkers on the Kerry Way may wish to extend the short day section from Glencar to Glenbeigh and stay at Mountain View. This will shorten the next stage to either Kells, Cahersiveen or Mastergeehy. Guests can ask to get their luggage transferred to any of these areas.
Guests wishing to spend an extra day in the area can follow the mountain trail up Rossbeigh Hill and then descend to visit the beach at White Strand. Horse-riding in Rossbeigh can also be organised. Traditional Irish Music sessions can be caught most weekends during the Summer in Cáitín's Pub near Kells.
