Sneem River Lodge is just a short stroll from the centre of the village. It overlooks the Sneem River and the boathouse. During Summer evenings guests can enjoy watching rowers on their seine boats training hard for the regatta series.
The bed and breakfast is Fáilte Ireland approved. All of six guest rooms are en-suite with shower. There is a television in each room and tea/coffee making facilities.
Walkers on the Kerry Way can arrange to have their bags transported to their next accommodation on the trail. Packed lunches can also be prepared. Although there are several good restaurants in Sneem, evening meals can be pre-booked at the house for a minimum group size of six.
Anyone wishing to explore more of the surrounding country on foot can follow either of the recently opened sign-posted routes. The 'Lomanagh Loop' is 11km and the 'Fermoyle Loop' is 15km.
Alternatively, boat trips can be organised to go deep-sea fishing, sight-seeing for seals, dolphins and whales or perhaps a trip to the Skelligs Islands.
