Clifford's Ocean View Bed and Breakfast is located at the end of the main street in Waterville. The 'Ring of Kerry Cycle Route' and 'Kerry Way' pass the front door, on the way to Caherdaniel. The town promenade is across the road, with views across the Ballinskelligs Bay and beyond to the Atlantic Ocean.
This is a Fáilte Ireland approved bed and breakfast. All bedrooms are ensuite with a shower (one room with a bath). There is also a television and tea/coffee making facilities in each of the rooms.
Clifford's is ideally located for Kerry Way Hikers who want to walk to Caherdaniel via the 'coastal route'. Being one of the last houses on the street, it provides a nice headstart in the morning. A packed lunch can be pre-ordered and a luggage transfer to the next accommodation can be arranged.
Guests wanting to spend more time in the area can visit Lough Currane and perhaps catch a boat out to Church Island to see the monastic settlement there. Trips can also be arranged to the Skellig Islands. Alternatively, great views of the Skelligs can be seen from the Hogs Head loop walk which also passes Loher Fort.
