The Village House is located in the centre of Glenbeigh on both the Kerry Way and the Ring of Kerry. There are nine bedrooms in the house, all with en-suite and shower. Each room also includes a television. Three of rooms have their own external entrance, directly from the street. These units also have a microwave which may be more suited to walkers on the Kerry Way.

Guests are invited to help themselves to tea or coffee in the sitting room at the front of the house. A range of tv stations are available to watch on a basic Sky package and additional sports channels are subscribed to during the summer months. There is also a selection of books and magazines to browse through.

The Village House has been a family-operated bed and breakfast for over 40 years. Current owners, John and Margaret, are well accustomed to the hospitality industry. They are happy to advise walkers on some of the other options for shorter trails should they wish to stay in Glenbeigh for an extra day.

Some of these walks include a trek up Rossbeigh Hill, a circuit of Seefin, a stroll along Rossbeigh Strand, or a serious hike around Coomasaharn Lake. Anyone wishing to explore further afield can arrange to hire a bicycle for the day and perhaps cycle out to the Bog Village. Guests who may fancy a round of golf at the Dooks Golf Club. Transport to here can be arranged and use of a set of golf-clubs can also be organised.

Kerry Way Walkers should note that there is a proper drying room at the Village House. Packed lunches can be made up given notice and luggage can be transported on to the next bed and breakfast on the trail.
