Riverside Villa B&B is located across the road from the Finnihy River, near the end of a residential cul-de-sac. With no passing traffic or houses facing the front of the house, this is very quiet pocket of Kenmare.
The house is approximately 400m away from the Kerry Way, from where it reaches the Brook Lane Hotel, on the outskirts the town. Although the centre of the Kenmare is around 600m from the house, the local grocery shop and hotel restaurant which are much closer to the house.
Riverside Villa is a modest-sized house with three bedrooms that can accommodate seven people. For a small group, this makes the booking of an entire house a possibility. All of the bedrooms are upstairs with one double with an ensuite, and the twin and family rooms sharing a bathroom.
Downstairs, there is a large open plan kitchen and lounge area with plenty of comfortable couches. Guests are welcome to make the most of the lounge to sit and relax on the couch and watch the television with a large selection of free to air stations.
Guests are served a Continental Breakfast in the morning with a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and a selection of cheese and ham. There is an extensive range of restaurants in town for evening meals and numerous cafés and shops with deli counters open in the morning to source a packed lunch.
For those looking extend their walking experience, it is possible to link the Kerry Way to the Beara Way. Riverside Villa has a sister property in the next village on the Beara Way trail at Lauragh. For guests checked into both properties, Riverside Villa are happy to help make the 24km walk from Kenmare to Lauragh a little easier, by providing a free luggage transfer Mountain View Bed and Breakfast, or vice versa.
