Watersedge is situated on an elevated position above the Kenmare River, overlooking Kenmare and beyond to the distant MacGillycuddy's Reeks. Watersedge is a 4-star bed and breakfast that has been approved by Fáilte Ireland. Its position is ideal for any walker looking to continue on from the Kerry Way to the Beara Way walking trail.
There are a total of four bedrooms in Watersedge, all of which are ensuite. Each room has a flat-screen TV and DVD player and there is a library of films to chose from in the dining room. Whilst downstairs, guests can also help themselves to tea, coffee and biscuits anytime throughout the day. In addition to the Guest Lounge with the books and board games, the decking area outside is a nice place to enjoy the long Summer evenings.
There are a selection of breakfasts to chose from which include salmon smoked at the house, freshly baked scones and some locally made cheeses. Walkers can also order a packed lunch for the trail, once there is some advance notice given. Luggage transfer between B&Bs can also be organised on the walkers behalf.
